another day, another entry.... yeppp. we watched the most intense video today in substance abuse. it was Ted Bundy's final interview before he was executed in the electric chair, and he discussed how violent pornography had influenced to become the monster he was. it was interesting, he professed to accept full blame for his actions, and that pornography did not force him to kill... but that it did have a definite affect on him. he said that the killer side of him was compartmentalized, and that he led a normal life... except for the 'black hole' which was hidden to the normal world. it was absolutely terrifying. why do people who seem to be so normal become so... psychotic. the interviewing psychologist (Dr. James Dobson)  believes that Bundy had psychopathic tendencies, but that one wouldn't necessarily have to have them to act out such behaviors. he cited the Holocaust as an example, where normal people were densensitized to commit unthinkable acts. i am very interested in what causes human behavior to snap like this. are we all capable of it? do you have to have some inborn tendency/genetic code that seeing violence will cause you to act out on extreme behaviors? an interesting point was brought up, this being that what you see/watch does affect what you do/act out. cites example of candy flashed for six seconds in a movie, causing people to buy said candy. how much more, the psychologist wondered, does watching even just a violent slasher film affect our thinking? even more so, violent pornography? it's a horrible subject, but one i think needs to put out in the open more. i'm even possibly thinking... master's thesis? who knows.......

Alright well with this blog, I'm going to give out the rules for the SEX (car game) point system, as authorized by Chris & Maria. For those of you who don't know what the SEX game is, it is the game that you play while driving in the car with another person, and you see someone with a busted headlight. The rules should fairly explain what exactly it is. And I'm just going to lose for today's date SEX game because I've already said "SEX" 5 times (including the Title of this blog) and I'm not even done explaining the rules...not even started for that matter.
Alright so here we go:

SEX RULE (+1 Pt)
Players may not say "sex" unless they meet the following requirements:
-All players must be able to see the vehicle in question.
-Only one headlight may be out. Both headlights out refers to the quasi-sex rule.
-The light on the vehicle in question MUST be out completely.
-Player must say: "SEX"
If player meets all requirements: Receive +1 Point

QUASI-SEX RULE (+0.5 Pt)
Players may claim quasi-sex rule point(s) if they meet the following requirements:
-All players must be able to see the vehicle in question.
-Both headlights of the vehicle in question must be completely out/off.
-At least one parking light on the vehicle in question must be on.
-Player must say: "QUASI-SEX"
If player meets all requirements: Receive +0.5 Points

SEMI-SEX RULE (+2 Pt)
Players may claim semi-sex rule point(s) if they meet the following requirements:
-All players must be able to see the vehicle in question.
-Vehicle in question must be a semi-truck (with or without trailor attached).
-Vehicle in question must have only one headlight out.
-Player must say: "SEMI-SEX"
If player meets all requirements: Receive +2 Points

COP-SEX RULE (+2+x [when x equals the value of the highest points player's points at any given time.] Pt)
Players may claim cop-sex rule point(s) if they meet the following requirements:
-All players must be able to see the vehicle in question.
-Vehicle in question must be a cop car.
-Vehicle in question must have only one headlight completely out.
-Vehicle in question may not have emergency lights flashing.
-Player must say: "COP-SEX"
If player meets all requirements: Receive Winner's Score

EGG-SEX RULE (+2 Pt)
Players may claim egg-sex rule point(s) if they meet the following requirements:
-All players must be able to see the vehicle in question.
-Vehicle in question must be a Ford Aspire
-Vehicle in question must have only one headlight completely out.
-Player must say: "EGG-SEX"
If player meets all requirements: Receive +2 Points

Violation Demerits
Players will receive negative or demerit points for the following actions:
-If a player says "SEX" at any given time, in any given context of the word while in the car, and the player does not meet the requirements to claim the SEX RULE. (-1 Pt)
-If a player says "SEMI-SEX","QUASI-SEX","COP-SEX","EGG-SEX", and the player does not meet all the requirements for the rules s/he needs for the rules accordingly. (-1 Pt)
-If a player begins to claim any of the rules, and then realizes that they will not meet the requirements and stops themself from saying the rest of the word(s). (-0.5 Pt)
-If a player claims any of the applicable rules and alternate players are unable to see and verify the players claim to the rule. (-1 Pt)

These are the current rules, last updated on the date of this entry. We reserve the right to change rules as needed and they will be posted here. All points are counted at time of 23:59 and are reset at the time 0:00. Rules may be changed, but only after the points are deducted or added, or neutralized. For example if a player claims the SEX RULE, and then it is determined later that a new rule needs to be added, that would've changed the points that the player lost, received, or didn't get. The player who claimed it must still loose, receive, or get nothing like they would have before the rule was created.
